Week 52 - Hump week and Elder Elwood

Here's a fun story. So a couple of weeks ago I lost my study journal I have had throughout my mission and I was really sad but I prayed that somehow it would turn up. And two days ago I lost my wallet and since I really need that in order to drive I was freaking out. So I prayed and then thought, it must be in the truck, so I went and looked under my seat and there was, not a skanky old french fry but my study journal! And then I found my wallet a couple of minutes later. So that was a neat tender mercy!

Hope you all have a good week and remember the Church is true, the Book of Mormon is true and The Atonement is real!

Week 51 - Just Do It! Baptize All the Nations

Thanks for all of the pictures! I sure love seeing you guys! Yeah I found out that my companion is being transferred and I will be staying here! We found a couple of new investigators and some Less active members we have been working with came to church. We also got some really funny t-shirts as a zone.

Week 50 - The most Ghetto grocery store ever!!

Elder Jally and me on exchanges in the most Ghetto grocery store ever. Notice all the empty shelves, then imagine a whole store like that! And dirty!! I wish I had better pictures of it, honestly it is so bad in there.

This is Elder Cutler Johnson and me together for the last time (he goes home next week. I'm very sad.)

Week 46 - The Church is true!

Our favorite street since we have the same name! Elder Patch has been out the same amount of time as me and he was in his last area (which was also in the city of Spokane) for 6 months as well. He is from Mesa Arizona, likes to skateboard and we get along great. Last night when we were just sitting in our apartment wondering how we were going to find new investigators, a member from the ward texted us and said that they had a 12 year old boy living with them who would like to have the missionary lessons. So the church is true people! We set up a time to meet with their family on Sunday.

Week 45 - Back to the Boons!

We had a HUGE meeting this week. The whole mission, except for Lewiston and Moscow, got together and we had a 6 hour meeting with Elder Keech of the Seventy. He was so funny, and we talked a lot about finding those who are prepared and willing to keep commitments. I learned a ton and also got to see a lot of my old missionary friends! I got to see Elder Shirk before he died, (he is on a plane home even as I type this) and a ton of other people. These are pictures of me at that meeting, and at the baptism, and burning Elder Sampson clothes and all sorts of stuff we did!
